Discover Meditation Techniques for Self Healing

Meditation has many healing benefits and recent studies have show that calming the mind through simple meditation techniques can help to:

  • Boost your immune system

  • Reduce inflammation

  • Uplift your mood

  • Improve sleep

  • Reduce the experience of pain

  • Increase feelings of wellbeing

If you've tried meditation, but found it hard to stick with a regular practice, it could be that you haven't found the right technique! This practical workshop will introduce you to several meditation and mindfulness techniques that you can use to calm the mind and relax your body. You'll discover a variety of tried and tested meditation techniques, including:

  • Mindfulness meditation
  • Gentle moving meditation
  • Walking meditation
  • Mantra meditation
  • Visualisation practices
  • Relaxation techniques

Who's Going?

If you would like to learn to use meditation to support your health and healing, or are a yoga teacher who wants to learn to support their students through yogic chanting, this workshop is for you. No experience required.

Meet the Teacher:

Nikola Ellis MCAP, BA (hons), Dip. Health (Yoga), Dip. Shiatsu, C-IAYT, AAYT, E-RYT

Founder and Principal Teacher at Adore Yoga, Nikola is a senior yoga therapist and has a Masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Nikola has been immersed in yoga and meditation for over 25yrs, studying with leading international teachers including TKV Desikachar, Judith Lasater, Donna Farhi, Ganesh Mohan, and Saraswathi Vasudevan.
